Do I need an appointment to try on wedding dresses?
Absolutely! We want your bridal appointment to be a truly personalised experience, with our undivided attention focused on you. You’ll be paired with your own personal stylist, who will guide you, answer all your questions, and help you find your dream gown. Appointments are 60 minutes, giving you plenty of time to explore and try on the styles you love. If you ever need to reschedule or cancel, simply give us a call or send us an email — we’ll happily arrange a time that suits you.
Can I share an appointment with a friend?
Every bride is unique, and we believe finding your perfect gown deserves our full attention. For this reason, we don’t offer shared appointments. If you and a friend would like to visit on the same day, we’d be delighted to schedule two separate appointments, and you can even book back-to-back times if you’d like to enjoy the experience together!
How much does a wedding dress cost?
At White Atelier, we believe every bride deserves a touch of luxury without the pressure of overspending. That’s why we curate designer gowns from around the world that feel indulgent yet remain approachable. Most of our gowns fall between $2,800–$4,000, with select pieces above $5,000 and starting options from $1,900. Please feel free to share your budget with us — we’re here to help you find the dress you love, without compromise.
When do I need to order my wedding dress?
We love to see brides start their dress journey 10 to 12 months before their wedding. This gives you plenty of time to enjoy the experience without feeling rushed. Made-to-order gowns usually take 8 to 10 months to arrive, plus 3 to 6 weeks for alterations to ensure the perfect fit. If your wedding is coming up in less than 6 months, don’t stress! We can request urgent orders from our designers. Timelines vary by designer, so just check with us and please note that an additional rush fee may apply.
What can I expect at my appointment?
From the moment you arrive, White Atelier is your private space to dream, explore, and fall in love with your dream wedding gown. Your 1 hour appointment begins with a personal consultation, where we’ll get to know your style, your vision, and every detail of your special day.
You’ll then be guided through a hand selected collection of gowns, with our stylists offering expert advice on silhouettes, fabrics, and fit, all tailored to you. We’ll help you discover the dress that makes your heart skip a beat, while also offering guidance on accessories and finishing touches if you wish.
Every step is designed to feel calm, indulgent, and memorable, it will be a truly special moment in your wedding journey.
What should I bring to my appointment?
We recommend wearing nude, strapless, and seamless undergarments to your appointment, and you are welcome to bring any shapewear or shoes you’re considering. Don’t worry if you don’t have these, they’re not required, and we’ll help you feel comfortable and confident as you try on your gowns.
What if I don’t know what type of dress I want?
That’s completely okay! You don’t need to have it all figured out! Our experienced stylists are here to guide you, offering advice and gentle suggestions as you explore different silhouettes, fabrics, and details. Trying on a variety of gowns is the best way to discover what makes you feel beautiful, confident, and truly yourself. Think of it as a fun and inspiring journey, we’ll help you find the dress that feels just right.
How many people should I bring?
We suggest bringing your closest loved ones to help you find the dress that truly feels like you. We recommend keeping your party intimate, with 2–4 guests, so you can enjoy a focused, relaxed, and personal experience. Bringing more than five people can sometimes feel overwhelming or create mixed opinions, but if you’d like to include a larger group, just let us know in advance and we’ll make sure everyone is comfortable while keeping the focus on you.
What sizes are your samples?
Our sample gowns usually range from bridal sizes 8 to 16, with most falling between sizes 10–14. If your size is outside this range, don’t worry! We have clips, pins, and styling tricks to help you see and feel the magic of your dream dress. And because our gowns are made to order, we can request sizes from 0–26 depending on the designer, so every bride can find her perfect fit.
Do you have a cancellation or return policy?
We want every bride to feel confident and delighted with her purchase. Please note that all made-to-order gowns, sample gowns, and accessories are considered final sale. Once an order is placed or a sample is purchased, we are unable to offer refunds or accept cancellations.
Because our gowns are made especially for you, placing an order begins the production process with the designer, which is why we cannot reverse or refund an order once it has been confirmed. We encourage you to take your time during your appointment, ask questions, and make sure your choice is exactly what you envision for your wedding day.

What is the process of purchasing a gown?
Saying YES to the dress is such a special moment, and the start of bringing your bridal vision to life. Once you’ve chosen your gown, we’ll take your measurements and secure your order with a 50% deposit. Each gown is made to order, so you can expect it to arrive within 8 to 10 months — giving you plenty of time to plan the details that make your look uniquely yours. While you are in the boutique, be sure to explore our carefully curated collection of hairpieces and accessories, perfect for completing your bridal look.
What is a trunk show?
A trunk show is a special event where we showcase an exclusive selection of a designer’s gowns, usually from their new or upcoming season collection. It’s the perfect opportunity to try on styles that aren’t yet available in store and even place an order for your dream dress before it’s officially released.

Will you ship my gown to me if I live out of state or overseas?
We recommend collecting your gown in person so you can fully experience the joy of meeting your dress! If visiting us isn’t possible, we are happy to arrange shipping for you. Please note that shipping costs may vary depending on your location.
